AZ/DZ Tri-Axle Dump Truck Driver — $25.00-$30.00/hr

Our company needs a steady, experienced AZ or DZ driver to run a tri-axle dump truck on their civil construction and excavation jobs around Simcoe County, Muskoka and nearby areas. This is full-time, long-term work for someone who treats the equipment well and shows up ready to go every day.

Pay

• $25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience

What you'll haul

• Gravel, stone, soil, asphalt, demolition debris and other construction materials

• You'll be working on excavation, earthmoving, underground utility and civil construction sites

Equipment

• Western Star tri-axle dump truck with an 18-speed manual transmission, kept in good condition

Requirements

• Valid AZ or DZ licence with a clean, insurable driving record

• Proven experience driving tri-axle dump trucks and shifting an 18-speed manual

• Background hauling the materials listed above

• Your own way to get to and from work

• Mechanically minded enough to spot early signs of truck trouble

• Solid habits around daily pre-trip and post-trip checks, and keeping the truck clean and greased

• Comfortable working near excavators, loaders and other heavy machinery, and confident backing into tight job sites

• Clear communicator with operators, foremen, pit staff, suppliers and customers

• Dependable, punctual and willing to pitch in with the crew when needed, with a safety-first mindset
