AZ/DZ Tri-Axle & Pony/End Dump Driver — Home Daily

Our company in Kleinburg, ON needs a Tri-Axle and Pony/End Dump driver to haul aggregates, asphalt, soil and other construction materials between job sites. This is a full-time local route and you'll be back home every night. Start date is ASAP.

Pay

• $5,000.00-$8,000.00 per month, based on experience

Home time

• Local routes only, so you return home daily

What you'll haul

• Aggregates, asphalt, soil and other construction materials, moved between job sites with a Tri-Axle or Pony/End Dump truck

What the job involves

• Running pre-trip and post-trip checks on the truck before each shift

• Loading and unloading materials with proper weight balance and secure tie-downs

• Keeping trip logs, delivery tickets, fuel records and inspection paperwork up to date

• Staying within traffic laws and company safety rules

• Coordinating pickups and drop-offs with dispatch and site supervisors

• Flagging any mechanical problems, damage or incidents to management right away

• Handling small repairs or upkeep on the truck as needed

Requirements

• At least 2 years behind the wheel of a Tri-Axle or Pony/End Dump truck

• Valid AZ or DZ license with a clean abstract

• Solid grasp of aggregate hauling, dumping procedures and related safety practices

• Dependable, on time, and ready for daily local driving

• Good communication and time-management abilities

• Some mechanical know-how is a plus
