AZ/DZ Tow Truck Driver — $25–$40/hr

A towing company in Thunder Bay is hiring a full-time tow truck operator to join its team, recovering and transporting vehicles with a modern fleet. Pay ranges from $25.00 to $40.00 per hour with steady work available.

Pay

• $25.00-$40.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Hook up, load and transport vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns and private properties, including loads needing special handling

• Handle roadside customer interactions professionally

• Carry out basic truck inspections and minor maintenance or repairs

• Communicate with dispatch to keep operations running smoothly

• Keep accurate paperwork and towing records

• Follow traffic laws and safety rules at all times

Requirements

• Valid Ontario license, AZ or DZ preferred, or willingness to get one

• Clean driving abstract and clean criminal record check (needed for CAA and police contracts)

• Tow operator certification is a plus; training is offered to the right candidate

• Mechanical know-how around vehicle or equipment repair is valued

• Prior customer service experience helps

• Must be available for flexible shifts, including nights, evenings and weekends

• Should work well as part of a team with good communication
