AZ/DZ Straight Truck Driver — $23.69/hr

Our company Group, a GTA food-service supplier to major airlines and retailers, needs a driver to run daily deliveries of large, perishable food orders across the Greater Toronto Area using an 18' straight truck.

Pay

• $23.69 per hour

What you'll haul

• Large-volume perishable food orders, delivered throughout the GTA

• Routes change from day to day

What you'll do

• Load and secure the truck, confirming order accuracy before heading out

• Run pre-trip and post-trip safety checks on the vehicle

• Collect CODs and delivery signatures

• Keep the truck and delivery trolleys clean inside and out

• Fuel the vehicle and log mileage/usage

• Pick up supplies as needed and help out in other food-service areas when asked

• Flag any mechanical or service issues to your supervisor

• Follow all Ministry of Transportation rules

Schedule

• Rotating continental shift covering days, evenings and weekends

• You need an open, flexible schedule and must be willing to work extra hours when the job calls for it

Requirements

• Valid, clean AZ or DZ licence with a clean driver's abstract

• 3 years of commercial straight-truck driving experience; food-service background is a plus

• Comfortable lifting up to 50 kg

• Able to work independently, stay organized, and know when to loop in your supervisor

• Customer-focused, patient and safety-minded on every delivery

• Must pass a criminal record and driver's abstract check

• Follow the company's uniform and grooming standards
