AZ/DZ Recycling Truck Driver — Regional Routes, Overnight Travel

Our company needs a recycling collection driver to run routes across Northern Ontario, covering communities between Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Kenora, and Red Lake. You'll pick up recyclables from customer stops and handle overnight travel as part of the regular route rotation.

What you'll do

• Drive a recycling collection vehicle safely across multiple municipalities in Northern Ontario

• Collect recyclable materials from assigned stops and keep routes on schedule

• Complete pre- and post-trip inspections along with Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports

• Follow all company safety rules and deliver good customer service

• Keep route records accurate and stay in touch with the operations team

Schedule and travel

• Rotating schedule, averaging four days a week, with occasional five-day weeks depending on operations

• Regular overnight travel required, up to two nights away per week

• Routes cover the area between Sault Ste. Marie, Wawa, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Kenora, Red Lake, and nearby towns

• Company vehicle and travel accommodations provided when needed

Requirements

• Valid Ontario DZ licence with a clean driving abstract and CVOR

• At least one year of DZ driving experience, or an AZ licence from an accredited driving school

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Willing to travel extensively through Northern Ontario and stay overnight away from home when required

• Good time management and organizational skills

• Familiarity with Northern Ontario roads and driving conditions is a plus

• Must pass required pre-employment screening

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work well with a team
