AZ/DZ Ready-Mix Concrete Truck Driver — $30.97/hr (Renfrew, ON)

Our company Canada Inc. needs AZ or DZ licensed drivers to haul and deliver ready-mix concrete across the National Capital Region, working out of Renfrew, ON. This is a full-time hourly role with an estimated wage of $30.97/hourly.

Pay

• Hourly position, estimated wage $30.97/hourly.

Schedule

• Shifts run Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays and evenings as needed.

What you'll haul

• You'll deliver ready-mix concrete to infrastructure and residential job sites throughout the region.

• You'll run late-model Class AZ or DZ trucks with manual transmissions.

• Loading and unloading concrete follows safety rules and each customer's mix specs.

What you'll do

• Complete thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections so your truck is always ready to roll.

• Inspect your assigned truck daily and log what you find.

• Keep delivery logs and project paperwork current, whether digital or on paper, and stay in regular contact with Dispatch.

• Represent the company professionally with customers on-site.

• Follow the company's health, safety and environmental standards and help build a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Valid Class AZ or DZ license with an Air Brake (Z) endorsement.

• Demonstrated ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.

• Construction delivery or heavy vehicle experience is a plus, but training is available if you're new to the field.

• A clean CVOR or driving abstract and a strong focus on safety.

• Physically able to climb into the truck cab and lift chutes.

• May need to pass a criminal background check and a fitness test.

• Must follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE, including respirators when applicable; employees using respirators must be clean-shaven where the mask seals against the face.
