About this job
Our company (SZTG) wants owner-operators with their own 16-20 foot box truck and tailgate for local city runs around Milton, ON. You'll need an AZ or DZ license and be set up as an incorporated operator with a rig that's in solid shape.
Pay
- Starting at $35.00 per hour
- Extra pay for tailgate use
- Bonus paid once a year based on performance
- Fuel price locked at a ceiling of 42.5 cents per litre, so you're shielded if prices climb
- Direct deposit every week
- Weekly insurance charge of $60.00
Home time
You'll run local routes in the Milton area and be back home every night, working roughly 50-60 hours a week.
What you'll haul
General freight, moved in your own 16-20 foot box truck equipped with a tailgate. Expect to do some manual loading and unloading.
Requirements
- AZ or DZ license, with any needed endorsements
- Must operate as an incorporated owner-operator
- At least 2 years of driving experience that can be verified
- Solid CVOR standing and a clean driving abstract
- Able to provide a current driver's abstract, CVOR record, and criminal background check, each dated within the last 30 days
- Your own truck, well-maintained and clean, with no limit on how old it is
