Our company in St. Catharines is hiring a Mover/Driver to handle residential moves around the Niagara area. This is a hands-on role that combines commercial driving with physical labour, not just point-to-point hauling. Bird's has served the Niagara region as a United Van Lines agent since 1933.
Pay
- $24.00-$28.00 per hour

What you'll do
- Drive trucks safely to residences throughout the Niagara area
- Load and unload household goods, making sure everything is secured for transit
- Lift heavy items repeatedly throughout each shift
- Lead and coordinate a moving crew day to day
- Keep trucks and equipment clean and organized
- Track your hours accurately using digital logs
- Stay flexible, since job duties and scenarios vary from move to move
- Work flexible hours, including weekends when needed
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ, DZ or G license
- Clean driving record
- Commercial driving experience
- Prior experience as a mover helper preferred; other physical labour backgrounds considered
- Able to lift heavy items consistently all day
- Strong leadership skills to manage a crew and interact with customers
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with varying schedules
- Solid commitment to safety practices
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Reliable transportation to get to work on time
- Professional residential (household goods) moving experience is a plus
