About this job
Our company in Wainfleet, ON needs an AZ/DZ truck driver for local construction hauling. You'll run a triaxle/live bottom truck moving material from the quarry to job sites and transporting equipment to and from active sites, working alongside the site crew and Midland operator.
Pay
- $28.43 to $31.17 per hour
- Overtime pay available

Schedule
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, day shift
- Mostly on the road; expect to travel about 75% of the time
What you'll haul
- Equipment to and from construction sites
- Material hauled live-bottom from the quarry to the job site
What the job involves
- Daily circle checks and reporting any maintenance issues
- Filling out daily field tickets
- Backing the truck up safely in traffic with a lane closed
- Working safely around the crew and following site safety rules
- Keeping the Site Superintendent informed of any problems
Requirements
- Valid AZ or DZ driver's licence
- Air Brake endorsement
- At least 3 years of experience driving an AZ or DZ licensed vehicle (needed for insurance)
- At least 1 year of float driving experience
- At least 1 year of experience with an 18-speed transmission (15 and 18-speed experience required)
- Road construction experience preferred
- Bobcat or skid steer foot control experience is a plus
- General construction experience is a plus
