About this job
This is a local box truck delivery role in the Greater Toronto Area, running palletized freight from warehouses to retail locations. You'll need a valid AZ, BZ, CZ, or DZ license and at least 3 years of commercial driving experience.
Pay
- From $26.00 per hour
Schedule
- Option 1: Sunday to Tuesday, 12-hour shifts
- Option 2: Thursday to Saturday, 12-hour shifts
- Optional 4th day on Wednesday, 6-8 hours
What you'll haul
- Palletized goods delivered in a 26-foot box truck across the GTA and surrounding areas, with hand-bombing and pallet jack use required
Requirements
- Valid Ontario commercial license (A, B, C, or D) with Z air brake endorsement
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience with palletized freight and tailgate delivery
- Must be 25 or older
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR for the past 3 years
- Strong knowledge of GTA roadways and downtown Toronto
- Comfortable with flexible hours, weekdays and weekends
Responsibilities
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
- Communicate with dispatch via Slack on ETAs and updates
- Use ELDs and handheld apps for tracking and compliance
