AZ/DZ/G Tow Truck Driver — $25.00-$40.00/hr

Our company in Thunder Bay, ON is hiring a full-time tow truck operator. You'll recover and deliver vehicles from accidents, breakdowns and private property using a modern fleet, with steady work and strong earning potential.

Pay

• $25.00-$40.00 per hour

What you'll do

• Drive a tow truck to move vehicles safely and efficiently

• Handle roadside calls with professional, customer-focused service

• Recover and deliver vehicles from accident scenes, breakdowns and private properties

• Load and unload vehicles, including specialized equipment like forklifts or machinery

• Check trucks and equipment regularly, and troubleshoot minor mechanical problems

• Keep accurate logs, reports and towing paperwork

• Coordinate with dispatch and teammates to keep operations running smoothly

• Follow traffic laws, safety rules and company procedures

• Pitch in on truck repairs or maintenance as needed

Requirements

• Valid Ontario driver's license; AZ/DZ preferred, or willingness to get one

• Clean driving record (abstract)

• Clean criminal record check, required for CAA and Police contracts

• Tow operator certification preferred; training is available for the right person

• Strong safety mindset and responsible driving habits

• Mechanical know-how in auto repair or equipment maintenance is a plus

• Customer service background is an asset

• Able to work flexible hours, including nights, evenings and weekends

• Good communicator who works well on a team
