AZ/DZ Front-End & Roll-Off Driver — $32.99/hr

WM in Mount Forest, ON needs experienced front-end and roll-off truck drivers. You'll run heavy-duty trucks with lift attachments, servicing commercial or industrial accounts and hauling material to disposal, transfer or recycling sites.

Pay

• Starting wage is $32.99 per hour

• Pay may vary based on your experience, training, certifications and the specific site

Schedule

• Full-time

• Either Monday through Friday or Tuesday through Saturday

What you'll haul

• Containers of waste or recyclable material, some over 1,000 pounds

• Large open-top and compactor containers at industrial stops, including tight overhead spots

• You'll need strong backing skills to navigate busy streets, driveways, alleys and lots

Requirements

• At least 2 years of front-end or roll-off driving experience, or equivalent military driving experience within the last 7 years

• Valid CDL Class AZ or DZ with air-brake endorsement, required upon hire

• Legally eligible to work in Canada with a valid SIN

• No formal education required

• Comfortable with standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching and handling throughout the shift

What the job involves

• Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections using the standard DVIR form, noting any issues

• Driving safely under OSHA, DOT and company rules

• Reporting unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents or service issues to your Operations Manager or Dispatch right away

• Attending required training sessions and meetings

• Clearing each stop completely and leaving customer sites clean

• Following your assigned route and completing end-of-shift paperwork

• Helping cover other routes when needed
