AZ/DZ Driver — $25.00/hr, 50 hrs/week

Consbec needs a dependable AZ/DZ driver to support drilling and blasting work at job sites across Ontario. You'll haul materials and equipment between locations, help with loading and site labor, and keep vehicles in good shape. This is a full-time, permanent role with job training provided.

Pay

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent position

• About 50 hours per week

• Shifts run 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

• No fly-in/fly-out travel required

What you'll do

• Drive company trucks matching your license class

• Deliver supplies and gear to different work sites around Ontario

• Help load and unload freight and make sure it's secured properly

• Check vehicles before trips and flag any mechanical or safety problems right away

• Keep inspection sheets, delivery records and logbooks up to date

• Pitch in with manual labor and other tasks on-site as needed

• Follow site rules, safety practices and company policies

• Stay in touch with supervisors and crew to coordinate pickups and drop-offs

• Keep trucks and work areas tidy

Requirements

• Valid AZ or DZ license matching the vehicle you'll drive

• Comfortable driving manual transmission vehicles

• Clean driving record and a passing criminal background check (CPIC)

• Able to travel to different sites across Ontario

• Physically able to handle loading, unloading and other site work

• Dependable, trustworthy and safety-focused

Nice to have

• Pumper truck background

• Prior commercial driving in construction, mining or similar fields

• Experience securing and handling freight

• A FAST card

• A Possession and Acquisition Licence (PAL)

• Surface Common Core training

None of these extras are required — Consbec will train you on the job.
