About this job
Komoka-Kilworth Home Hardware Building Centre needs an AZ/DZ driver to handle lumber yard deliveries. You'll be the face of the company on the road, moving materials to customers and jobsites while keeping paperwork and vehicles in order.
Pay
- Starting from $26.00 per hour, full-time.
What you'll haul
- Building supplies and lumber yard products delivered to customers, vendors and jobsites.
- Loading and unloading freight, including heavy and bulky items, using equipment like forklifts and pushcarts.
- Securing cargo properly for transport.
Schedule
- Full-time hours with day and night shifts.
- Monday to Friday, with weekends as needed.
- You'll need flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience driving with an AZ license.
- At least 3 years of experience driving with a DZ license.
- A clean driving abstract and solid driving record.
- Comfortable lifting 60 pounds on your own and 100 pounds with help.
- Strong communication skills for working with customers, coworkers and management.
- Willingness to work as part of a team and follow workplace safety rules.
- Show up on time, in Home Hardware uniform with safety boots and high-visibility gear.
