About this job
Magest is hiring a driver to run a mobile volumetric concrete mixing truck, delivering and mixing concrete on-site for jobs throughout Perth & Huron Counties. You'll work independently at construction sites and deal directly with site contacts.
Pay
- $30.00 per hour
What you'll do
- Drive and run a volumetric mobile mix truck, hauling concrete to sites and mixing it on-site to meet job specs
- Measure and load the right amounts of cement, aggregate, water and admixtures for each pour
- Confirm mix design, quantity and pour timing with site contacts
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and handle basic equipment upkeep
- Keep accurate records of deliveries and batches
Requirements
- Valid AZ or DZ licence
- Clean driver's abstract
- At least 3 years of commercial driving experience
- Background working with concrete, ready-mix or volumetric mixing equipment
- Able to work independently on job sites, including construction environments
- Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach
