About this job
Our company is hiring a Redimix truck driver in the Toronto area to haul concrete materials for civil construction projects. You'll need an AZ or DZ license and experience driving a standard transmission.
Pay
- $30.00 per hour
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ or DZ license with a clean abstract
- At least 3 years of heavy truck driving experience in an urban setting
- At least 3 years of Redimix experience
- Must drive standard transmission
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in all weather conditions
What you'll do
- Deliver materials to job sites across the GTA
- Coordinate pickup and delivery timing with civil foremen and supervisors
- Complete pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
- Monitor and report on vehicle condition and maintenance needs
- Follow all Highway Traffic Act and Ministry of Transportation rules
