About this job
Our company needs a seasonal Bulk Truck Driver in Thunder Bay, ON to deliver propane to homes, businesses, mines and job sites from around October 2026 through April 2027.
Pay
- $28.00 to $30.00 per hour based on experience
- Eligible for a bonus at the end of the season (amount not specified)
Schedule
- Four 10-hour shifts per week, including weekends, plus an on-call rotation
- Expect longer hours during the busy October–April stretch
What you'll haul
- Bulk propane delivered to residential, commercial, industrial, mining and construction customers
- You'll load and unload the bulk truck and fill end-use containers
What you'll do
- Check customer tanks to confirm they're safe to fill
- Flag any equipment problems or repairs needed
- Complete pre- and post-shift truck inspections and required paperwork
- Keep your equipment clean and in good mechanical shape
- Represent the company professionally with customers
Requirements
- High school education
- At least 3 years of driving experience (no propane experience needed)
- Valid Class AZ or DZ license and ability to drive manual transmission
- Air Brake endorsement required
- Clean driving record, free of disqualifying convictions
- Must pass a pre-employment drug, alcohol and physical screening
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather and handling physical tasks like pulling delivery hoses
