AZ Dump Truck Driver — Local, $28-$34/hr

Black Tar is a family-owned paving and construction business serving the Ottawa area for over a decade with asphalt, maintenance and interlock work. They need an AZ-licensed dump truck driver for local, short-haul runs around Ottawa, moving material between job sites with no overnight travel.

Pay

• $28.00-$34.00 per hour, plus performance bonuses and incentives

What you'll haul

• Asphalt, aggregates, granular material, clean fill, salt and snow, using tri-axle dump trucks

• Loading and unloading at plants, yards and job sites

• Supporting the paving crews so materials arrive where and when they're needed

Schedule

• Full-time, permanent, local work based out of Carp, ON with no long hauls or nights away

Requirements

• Valid AZ licence

• At least 2 years driving a tri-axle dump truck, ideally hauling asphalt or aggregates

• Familiarity with roads and job sites around Ottawa

• Comfortable doing basic truck upkeep and pre/post-trip checks, and keeping logs accurate

• Dependable, on time, safety-focused, and able to communicate well with dispatch, supervisors and crews

• English required

• Able to commute to or relocate near Carp, ON
