Our company is looking for an AZ driver for part-time, call-in casual work in Peterborough, ON. You set your own availability and weekly hours, making this a good fit for a retiree or anyone wanting to add extra hours to their week.
What you'll do
- Drive AZ-class commercial vehicles safely and on schedule
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks
- Keep logbooks and delivery paperwork accurate
- Stay compliant with MTO rules and hours-of-service regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch and customers as needed
- Shift times can vary day to day
Requirements
- Valid Ontario AZ license
- Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
- At least one year of commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with ELD systems and HOS rules
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well with a team
- Solid customer service skills
