About this job
Our company in Orangeville, Ontario needs an experienced AZ driver who can also help with equipment operation and landscape construction work. Most job sites are across the GTA and surrounding areas, and the company also has openings for landscape labourers and foremen.
Pay
- $20.00 to $45.00 per hour, depending on your experience and skill level
What you'll do
- Haul dump trucks and float heavy equipment to and from job sites
- Load, secure and transport construction machinery
- Carry out daily inspections of your truck and trailer
- Operate safely around active construction sites
- Pitch in with construction labour and equipment operation (excavators, skid steers, loaders) when you're not driving
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional AZ driving experience
- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- Valid driver's licence
- Your own way to get to the Orangeville shop or job sites
- Able to handle physical work outdoors in all kinds of weather
- Reliable, punctual and detail-oriented
- Ready to put in long days and a high number of hours
- A bonus if you have hands-on experience with construction labour or running equipment like excavators, skid steers or loaders
