AZ Driver — Day Shift, Benefits + Pension Match

Our company, a long-established metal recycling company with locations across North America, is looking for an AZ Driver in Sault Ste. Marie, ON. You'll move materials between assigned sites on a set run schedule, operating tractor, roll-off and lugger trucks safely and efficiently.

Schedule

• Day shift, rotating two-week pattern

• Week 1: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM

• Week 2: Monday to Friday, 8:00AM to 4:00PM

What you'll haul

• Materials transported to and from assigned locations, following the most efficient routes

• Equipment includes tractor, roll-off and lugger trucks (manual transmission)

What you'll do

• Keep cargo safe and secure throughout each run

• Represent the company professionally with customers and coworkers

• Fill out your logbook/Elog accurately

• Complete pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection reports

• Take on other transportation tasks as your manager assigns them

Requirements

• Valid AZ licence with air brake (Z) endorsement

• Clean CVOR and driver's abstract, with minimal demerit points or incidents

• Comfortable driving 13 and/or 18 speed manual transmissions

• Roll-off or lugger experience is a plus but not required

• Strong, professional communication skills and a positive attitude

• Must pass a criminal background check with no adverse findings
