AZ Delivery Driver — St. Catharines, ON

Our company is looking for an AZ Delivery Driver in St. Catharines, ON to deliver food products and orders to customers. You'll handle both the driving and the hands-on work of getting orders to the right place, while keeping customers happy along the way.

What you'll do

• Deliver and pick up customer orders and vendor shipments using a G, DZ or AZ class vehicle on your scheduled route

• Sort and move roughly 600-900 pieces per day by hand, using tools like a handcart, e-walkie or pump cart on ramps, stairs and various surfaces

• Lift items weighing up to 50 lbs on a regular basis, and up to 80 lbs from time to time

• Fill out and confirm all delivery paperwork, including proof-of-delivery scans, invoices and returns

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and keep logs and reports current

• Work shifts of 10 to 13 hours in a range of weather, road and climate conditions

• Follow company procedures along with Ministry of Transportation, Health & Safety, Food Safety and WHMIS rules

Requirements

• Valid AZ license with a clean driver's abstract and CVOR

• At least 1 year of experience driving an AZ class vehicle

• Strong communication and customer service abilities

• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 80 lbs occasionally

• Willing to work flexible, assigned route schedules

• Comfortable working in varied weather and road conditions
