AZ Delivery Driver — Local GTA Routes, Mon–Fri Schedule

Our company, a mechanical contractor with offices across Ontario and Atlantic Canada, needs an AZ truck driver to support its Asset Department out of the Newmarket, Ontario office. You will move tools, materials and equipment between the shop and job sites around the GTA, reporting to the Asset Manager.

What you'll haul

• Equipment and materials for job sites, using pickup trucks, a 5-ton cube van or a tri-axle boom truck

• Pickups of tools and gear from completed sites, bringing them back to the shop

What you'll do

• Help organize materials and equipment for outgoing deliveries

• Help clean up job sites once work wraps up

• Track tool movements to and from sites alongside the Asset Manager

• Wash delivery vehicles inside and out every week

• Pitch in on cleaning the Asset Department, shop space and other company property

• Cover warehouse tasks as needed

• Handle some heavy lifting when the job calls for it

Schedule

Standard hours run Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, though this can shift based on business needs. Expect occasional evening or weekend work, and come ready to flex your hours when operations require it.

Requirements

• Valid AZ license

• 2 to 5 years driving larger trucks and towing trailers

• Clean driver's abstract

• Comfortable navigating routes throughout the GTA

• Strong spoken and written English

• A professional, courteous manner and a team mindset

• CSA-approved safety boots required

• Forklift certification and 0-8 ton crane training are a plus, though not required
