About this job
C.A.T. Inc. is looking for an experienced AZ driver to run a dedicated cross-border route between Windsor, ON and Detroit, MI, hauling dry van freight with frequent trailer switches. You'll be home every night.
Route and schedule
- Windsor, ON to Detroit, MI corridor
- Home every night
- Dry van freight, mostly trailer switches
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer safely on the Windsor–Detroit route
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Handle trailer switches and check load paperwork
- Keep accurate electronic logs and follow border and safety rules
Requirements
- Valid AZ or Class 1 licence
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Valid passport and ability to enter the US
- Clean driving record, background check and good English
- FAST card is a plus
