About this job
Our company in Milton, ON needs AZ drivers for US and Canada cross-border runs. You will haul freight between the two countries while keeping deliveries on time and safe.
What you'll do
- Drive commercial trucks on US and Canada routes, following all transportation laws and safety rules
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Fill out delivery logs and shipping manifests correctly
- Handle minor mechanical troubleshooting or basic repairs to keep the truck running
- Work with dispatch to plan efficient routes and schedules
- Keep the cab and trailer clean and organized
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean driving record
- Prior experience in commercial driving or freight handling
- Forklift or heavy equipment certification/experience is a plus
- Comfortable doing basic automotive troubleshooting or repairs
- Solid grasp of cross-border freight safety procedures
- Strong communication skills and a safety-first mindset
- Physically able to lift heavy loads, run equipment, and carry out inspections
Pay
Up to $14,000.00 per month.
