About this job
Join our company in Smithville, ON as a Driver handling local, regional and cross-border runs. You must be legally eligible to cross the border, and while you'll typically be home every night, you may occasionally need to bunk in the truck for an overnight trip.
Pay
- $28.50 per hour, full-time
What you'll haul
- Freight moved using walking floors (training provided), dry vans, and straight trailers
- You'll need to tarp and untarp loads with various equipment, so comfort working at height is required
What you'll do
- Drive commercial vehicles safely across local, regional and cross-border routes
- Check and maintain your vehicle and equipment to stay safe and compliant
- Keep accurate delivery records, logs, and maintenance notes
- Follow traffic laws, safety rules, and company procedures
- Work with warehouse and logistics staff to coordinate pickups and drop-offs
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean driving record
- At least 3 years of experience driving commercial vehicles or hauling freight
- Able to plan routes and keep to schedule
- Flexible and adaptable, with no issue working at height for tarping
