About this job
Our company is hiring a Truck Driver for cross-border Canada-USA routes out of North York, ON. You'll run 3,000-3,600 miles per week hauling freight, with pay based on miles driven.
Pay
- 0.68 per mile
- Estimated at $100,000 per year based on weekly mileage
- Paid every 2 weeks on Friday by direct deposit
- Paid waiting time for loading and unloading
- Paid layover, trailer switch, border delay time, and trailer repair waiting time
- Monthly safety bonus ($250-$400)
- Paid training
Bonuses
- Sign-on bonus: $2,000
- FAST Card bonus: $2,000
What you'll haul
- Cross-border freight between Canada and the USA
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of AZ driving experience
- Cross-border experience preferred
- Clean driving record and good safety history
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy-duty trucks safely, following traffic laws and safety regulations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Load and unload cargo, including heavy lifting, and secure it properly
- Keep accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and documentation
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules
