AZ Cross-Border Truck Driver — $0.58–$0.62/Mile

Our company is hiring an AZ licensed driver for cross-border runs between Mississauga, Ontario and the U.S. Midwest (IL, WI, IN, KY, TX, FL, GA). Expect steady weekly mileage and a dedicated truck assignment.

Pay

• $0.58/mile to $0.62/mile

• Typical weekly mileage of 2800-3200 miles, which works out to roughly $75,000-$110,000 per year

Routes

• Regular, scheduled lanes from Mississauga, Ontario into the U.S. Midwest states (Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Kentucky, Texas, Florida, Georgia)

What you'll haul

• 53 ft tractor-trailer combinations

Equipment & support

• Each driver gets an assigned truck

• Newer automatic trucks and trailers

• On-site mechanic and round-the-clock dispatch

Requirements

• Valid Class AZ license for 53 ft truck and trailer combinations

• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience

• Clean driving record in good standing, no at-fault accidents or DUIs in the past 10 years

• Clear criminal background check and a passed pre-employment drug test

• Complete a one-day paid orientation

• Strong spoken and written English

• Own cell phone with a data plan and reliable transportation to get to work

• Knowledge of the Highway Traffic Act, Hours of Service rules, and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (must pass a quiz)

• Able to pass a road evaluation covering pre-trip inspection, air brakes, coupling/uncoupling, a road test and backing

• Must follow all U.S. and Canadian DOT regulations and be comfortable driving in all weather
