AZ Cross-Border Owner Operator — Up to $200,000 Annual Revenue

Our company is recruiting owner operators with their own tractors to run cross-border and Inter-Canada lanes out of the Kitchener-Waterloo area. This is a contract position hauling for Loblaw's distribution network across the US and Canada.

Pay

• Annual revenue potential of $120,000.00-$200,000.00

• Invoices paid weekly

• Fuel costs covered when you average 7.25 mpg or better

• Border crossings, tolls, insurance, registration, pickups/drops, live loading/unloading, and hooking/unhooking are all paid

• A referral bonus may be available if someone you refer gets hired

Routes and freight

• Lanes run throughout North America, including cross-border triangles

• Both single and team lanes are offered

• Expect to average 10,500-12,500 miles per month

• You'll move freight to destinations across the US and Canada (Inter-Canada/Open Board)

• Loads include product requiring meat inspection and produce runs back to distribution centers

• Freight is no-touch, so you won't be doing manual loading or unloading

• Reefer experience is a plus but not mandatory

Requirements

• Valid Class 1/AZ commercial driver's license

• At least 2 years of Class 1 driving experience

• At least 1 year of experience driving in the USA

• Eligible to enter the US (Canadian citizen with a valid passport, permanent resident with a valid PR card/passport, or from a country in the Visa Waiver program)

• Must meet FMCSA rules for commercial drivers operating in the United States

• Comfortable using an Electronic Log Device to track hours and submitting paperwork to dispatch electronically

• Well-maintained truck required

• Must pass a criminal background check and a DOT-compliant drug and alcohol test

• Responsible for completing meat inspections when needed, handling border documentation, and following Canadian and American Hours of Service rules
