AZ Cross-Border Owner Operator — $120,000–$200,000/Year Revenue

Our company is looking for owner operators with their own tractors to run dedicated cross-border lanes out of the Greater Toronto Area. Loads move between Canada and the US, with both single and team lanes available.

Pay

• Potential to earn $120,000-$200,000 in annual revenue

• Fuel is paid when you keep average fuel consumption at 7.25 mpg or better

• Company covers border crossings, tolls, insurance, registration, pickups/drops, live load/offload, and hooking/unhooking

• Invoices are paid out weekly

• A referral bonus may be available if someone you refer gets hired

What you'll haul

• Deliveries across the US and Canada, including Inter-Canada/Open Board runs

• Produce loads picked up for return trips to distribution centers

• Meat inspections completed as needed

• No-touch freight - no manual loading or unloading

• Average monthly mileage runs 10,500-12,500 miles

• Reefer experience is a plus

Requirements

• Valid Class 1/AZ commercial driver's license

• At least 2 years of Class 1 driving experience

• At least 1 year of US driving experience

• Eligible to enter the US (Canadian citizen with valid passport, PR cardholder, or passport from a Visa Waiver country)

• Comfortable using technology to send documents to dispatch and track hours of service through an electronic log device

• Well-maintained equipment of your own

• Must pass a criminal background check plus a DOT-compliant drug and alcohol test

• Able to meet FMCSA rules for commercial drivers working in the US, and follow both Canadian and American hours-of-service rules

• Reliable in handling border paperwork and dispatch documentation
