Owner-operator opportunity for an experienced cross-border driver running US Midwest lanes out of Mississauga, ON. This is steady, year-round dry van freight with a dedicated automatic truck.

Pay

• $0.65 per loaded mile

• Extra pickups and deliveries are paid separately

• Waiting time paid after 2 hours

• Border wait time paid after 1 hour

• Paid by direct deposit every two weeks, on the 1st and 16th

• Typical monthly pay ranges from $7,500.00 to $8,500.00

Routes and freight

• Dry van loads across Midwest lanes: IL, IN, OH, KY, WI, IA

• Expect 2,800-3,500 miles per week

• Freight is steady throughout the year

Equipment

• Dedicated automatic truck equipped with APU, microwave and inverter

Requirements

• At least 2 years of commercial (AZ) driving experience, including cross-border runs

• Valid FAST card

• Solid mechanical knowledge of trucks
