About this job
This long-term cross-border OTR role is based out of Mississauga, ON, hauling general freight (including air cargo) for a company running over 35 power units and 50 trailers between Canada and the US.
Routes and schedule
- You'll run out on Sunday and get back by Friday, with your reset at home.
- Lanes cover New York, Michigan, Illinois, Texas and Florida, plus Canadian hubs like Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver.
Pay
- $0.66 per mile or more.
- Monthly pay typically runs $7,000.00-$10,000.00.
What you'll haul
- General freight, including air cargo moving between Canada and the US.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of verifiable AZ driving experience.
- At least 2 years of cross-border hauling experience.
- Clean driving abstract and CVOR.
- Valid driver's license and passport.
- Valid FAST card (if you don't have one, a clean criminal record check is needed instead).
- Must pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
- Minimum age 24.
