About this job
C.A.T. INC. is hiring an AZ driver for a cross-border route between Windsor, ON and Detroit, MI, with home time every night. This is dry van work, mostly trailer switches.
Route and schedule
- Based out of Windsor, Ontario
- Runs between Windsor, ON and Detroit, MI
- Home every night
- Dry van freight, primarily trailer switches
What you'll do
- Drive a tractor-trailer on the Windsor–Detroit corridor
- Do pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Handle trailer switches and check load paperwork
- Keep accurate electronic logs and follow border and safety rules
Requirements
- Valid AZ or Class 1 licence
- At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Valid passport and eligibility to enter the US
- Clean driving record and satisfactory background check
- Functional English
- FAST card is a plus
