About this job
Our company, running out of its Guelph, ON terminal, is hiring AZ highway company drivers for cross-border runs between Canada and the United States. The pay package has just been updated to offer higher earning potential. Expect to be out in the truck 5-6 days a week, starting Sundays and generally wrapping up by Friday, sleeping in your truck while on the road.
What you'll haul
- Dry van freight moving between Canada and the US
- You may be assigned to either the dry van or reefer division
Schedule
- Weekly runs typically start Sunday and end Friday
- 5-6 consecutive days out on the road per trip, sleeping in the truck
Requirements
- Valid AZ licence or Class 1
- 2 years of verified driving experience in Canada and the US
- Clean CVOR and driver's abstract
- Clean criminal record check, required for crossing the border
- Willing and able to cross into the United States on a regular basis
- FAST Card preferred
