AZ/Class 1 Team Long Haul Truck Driver — Cross-Canada & US Routes

Igloo Transport in Markham, ON needs team truck drivers for cross-Canada freight runs, with occasional trips into the U.S. You'll work alongside a co-driver to keep hauls moving safely and on schedule.

What you'll do

• Drive long-haul routes across Canada, and into the U.S. when needed, to get freight delivered on time.

• Stay in touch with dispatch about delays, route changes or any problems on the road.

• Partner with your co-driver to keep trips running smoothly.

• Log shipment updates and upload delivery paperwork through the company's TMS.

• Check your truck regularly and keep up with maintenance.

• Follow traffic laws, Hours of Service rules and the company's safety standards.

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (or Class A) license with an Air Brake endorsement.

• Experience hauling 53-foot trailers is preferred.

• A FAST card, valid U.S. visa or clean customs history is a plus.

• Able to read, write and speak English.

• Comfortable working as part of a two-person driving team.

• Open schedule and ready to travel between provinces and across the border.

• Familiar with Canada's highway network.

• Clean driving history, free of major violations.

• Fit enough for long hours behind the wheel and occasional loading or unloading.

Pay and benefits

• Pay ranges from $45,000.00 to $158,908.04 per year, based on experience.
