AZ/Class 1 Regional Highway Driver — Northern Ontario Routes

A client company is looking for AZ/Class 1 drivers with highway experience to run regional routes throughout Northern Ontario. You'll haul freight between set destinations while staying compliant with transport rules and company procedures.

Routes

• Regional lanes covering North Bay, Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie, Kapuskasing and other Northern Ontario points

What you'll do

• Drive AZ/Class 1 commercial trucks on these regional highway lanes

• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks each day

• Load and secure freight properly for transport

• Keep electronic logs and trip paperwork current and accurate

• Follow provincial transport laws and company safety policies

• Stay in contact with dispatch about delivery status and timing

• Get freight to its destination safely and on schedule

Requirements

• Valid AZ or Class 1 driver's licence

• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience

• Clean driving abstract

• Solid knowledge of road safety rules

• Dependable, on time, and safety-minded

• Good communication and time-management abilities
