Our company in Mississauga, ON is looking for a full-time city truck driver to handle local semi truck trailer runs.
Pay
- $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Schedule
- Full-time, 50+ hours per week
- Start times can vary, so you need to be flexible
What you'll do
- Drive a semi truck trailer safely around the city
- Check your truck before, during and after each trip (gauges, lights, electrical system, and look for water, oil, fuel or air leaks)
- Strap down and unstrap loads
- Keep your e-log up to date (all trucks have e-logs)
- Fill out required paperwork
- Stay in touch with Dispatch
- Keep things professional with customers and coworkers
- Follow Ministry of Transportation rules and the Highway Traffic Act
Requirements
- Class 1/AZ licence required
- At least 3 years of verifiable driving experience
- Clean abstract and CVOR
- Strong communication skills
