About this job
Manitoulin Transport needs an AZ driver for local pickup and delivery work out of the Huntsville terminal. You'll run a straight truck or tractor-trailer around the surrounding service area, handling freight for customers in the Muskoka region.
Schedule
- Monday to Friday, local routes only
- Start times shift based on freight volume
- Some flexibility in availability needed occasionally
What you'll haul
- Pickup and delivery runs throughout the Huntsville terminal territory
- Includes in-home deliveries to medical patients, which means bringing freight inside their residences
- You'll load and unload freight yourself as part of the daily route
Requirements
- Valid AZ driver's licence
- Clean criminal record and clean driver's abstract
- Able to lift more than 50 lbs
- Forklift certified (training provided)
- TDG / Fork Truck certification (training provided)
- Comfortable using handheld delivery devices (training provided)
- Good knowledge of the Muskoka area; familiarity with Manitoulin Island is a plus
- Reliable, punctual, works well with a team, and can adapt when plans change
- Customer-friendly, polite, and able to juggle multiple tasks in a busy environment
Pay
- $24.00 per hour guaranteed, plus incentive pay on top
