AZ/CDL-A Pneumatic Tanker Driver — $28.00–$30.00/hr

Tandet is looking for a seasoned tanker driver with pneumatic (blower) experience to haul bulk materials on a mix of cross-border, local and regional runs out of Cookstown, ON. You'll handle pickups and deliveries for industries like chemical, food manufacturing, construction and consumer goods, with occasional overnight trips required.

Pay

• $28.00-$30.00 per hour, plus opportunities for overtime

• Steady, year-round work

What you'll haul

• Bulk liquid and dry materials in tanker trailers

• Pneumatic (blower) unloading at customer locations

Routes

• Combination of cross-border, local and regional lanes

• Some trips require staying out overnight

Requirements

• Valid AZ (Ontario) or CDL Class A license with a clean abstract

• At least 3 years of tanker driving experience

• Hands-on experience with pneumatic trailers and blower systems

• Solid understanding of bulk loading and unloading practices

• Physically able to handle demanding tasks like lifting hoses and climbing

• Valid passport, TWIC or FAST card for border crossings

• Fluent enough in English to handle safety procedures, paperwork and communication

• Reliable, safety-minded and good at managing time

Day-to-day duties

• Run pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections

• Keep the truck and tanker equipment clean and in good working order

• Keep accurate ELD logs and delivery paperwork

• Follow MTO, DOT and internal safety rules

• Stay in regular contact with dispatch, customers and the team
