About this job
Our company needs AZ drivers for the upcoming construction season. You'll haul asphalt materials around job sites across Southern Ontario for this commercial asphalt, concrete and excavation company.
What you'll haul
- Asphalt materials to and from work sites
- You'll run tri-axle and float trucks
What the job involves
- Pre-trip and post-trip circle checks plus minor upkeep on your truck
- Staying in touch with dispatch and the site crews
- Lending a hand on-site when needed
- Working within MTO rules and the company's safety standards
Requirements
- Valid AZ license with a clean abstract
- Asphalt hauling experience is a plus
- Familiarity with paving and construction work
- Willing to put in long hours, including weekends, during the busy season
- Dependable, punctual, and focused on doing the job safely
Pay
$30.00-$35.00 per hour. This is full-time seasonal work with overtime opportunities.
