About this job
Our company, a locally owned company operating since 1972, is hiring a full-time, year-round truck driver and mover for their West End location in Edmonton, AB. You'll drive, load and unload trucks while helping deliver a strong customer experience.
What you'll do
- Operate 5 ton trucks
- Load, unload, pack and unpack household goods
- Keep the warehouse and trucks organized
- Collect payments and handle invoices on site
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep daily logbooks
Requirements
- 3 years of experience driving 5 ton trucks (required)
- 1 year of moving experience (preferred)
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
- Ability to safely handle both 3 ton and 5 ton trucks
- Physically fit and comfortable working as part of a team
- Flexible schedule, including weekend availability
- Positive attitude
On-site training is provided.
Pay
$25.00-$30.00 per hour, based on experience. Customers may also tip based on your performance.
