About this job
This role with our company in Saskatoon, SK combines warehouse work with driving a 5-ton delivery truck to bring Ply Gem and Mitten building products to customers. It's a full-time day shift position reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor.
What you'll do
- Load and unload building products by hand or using equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts
- Sort, count, package and stock inventory in the warehouse
- Prepare and load customer orders for delivery
- Drive the delivery truck safely, following traffic laws and company rules
- Complete pre-trip inspections, delivery paperwork and required logs
- Help with cycle counts and general warehouse upkeep
- Communicate with customers about their deliveries
Requirements
- A valid driver's abstract
- About a year of warehouse or truck driving experience is preferred but not mandatory
- Comfortable with repetitive heavy lifting, standing, bending and similar physical demands
- Willing to work in varying weather conditions
Equipment
You'll operate a 5-ton delivery truck along with a forklift and other material handling tools.
