About this job
Our company is a Calgary-based dry bulk carrier operating in western Canada since 1991, running a fleet of pneumatic Super B and tri-axle trailers. They're hiring Class 1 drivers in AB, BC, SK and MB for two types of runs: regional work out of Saskatchewan and longer hauls into Alberta/BC.
Pay
Annual pay ranges from $80,000 to $150,000, paid out every two weeks by direct deposit.
Home time
Regional runs keep you out 1-2 nights at a time. Long haul runs mean 4-5 nights away before you reset at home. Scheduling is flexible and adjusted per driver.
What you'll haul
You'll operate pneumatic Super B trailer sets and pneumatic tri-axle trailers hauling dry bulk product, driving a truck assigned only to you.
Requirements
- Valid Class 1 license
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience
- Super B experience of about a year is a plus but not required
- Comfortable driving an 18-speed manual transmission
- No vaccine requirement for this role
