Truck Driver (Non-CDL)

Our company in Channahon, IL is looking for a dependable truck driver to move goods between locations, plan efficient routes and keep deliveries on schedule.

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver materials and goods between locations

• Choose safe, efficient travel routes

• Keep delivery times on track

• Carry out regular safety checks and basic preventative upkeep on the vehicle

• Log your work hours, rest breaks and fuel costs

• Follow all driving laws and company rules

Requirements

• Prior truck driving experience preferred

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)

• Trucking school certificate preferred

• Comfortable using GPS, CB radio and AVL tracking tools

• Solid knowledge of trucking regulations

• Clean driving record

• Ready to travel regularly, including long-distance runs
