Our company in Omaha, NE needs a driver to move construction and heavy equipment to and from job sites and customers, handling both commercial and non-commercial vehicles.
Pay
- $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
What you'll haul
- Assorted construction materials and heavy equipment, secured with chains, straps, and binders following DOT rules
Responsibilities
- Pick up, drop off, and retrieve equipment safely and on schedule
- Complete required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Keep delivery paperwork ready for review
- Stay in touch with your branch manager or dispatch about routes, delays, weather, and traffic
- Follow all safety rules and company procedures
- Maintain good customer relationships
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of verifiable driving experience, or a valid CDL
- Current DOT medical card
- Experience with trailer towing, rollbacks, hauling, or operating construction equipment is a plus
- Able to lift 50+ pounds regularly and handle physical tasks like bending, climbing, and working in various conditions
