Truck Driver — $26.37–$31.76/hr

You'll keep freight moving safely between pickup and delivery points, following GPS-planned routes and meeting delivery windows. Depending on the assignment, you might run long-haul trips, handle local deliveries, haul vehicles, or pull a refrigerated trailer, flatbed, or tanker.

What you'll do

• Drive tractor-trailers and other commercial trucks, including manual-transmission rigs, in line with DOT and FMCSA rules

• Map out and follow routes using GPS for both local and long-haul runs

• Load, unload, and secure freight to keep it safe in transit

• Haul hazardous or dangerous goods only when you're cleared to do so, following the required safety steps

• Check your equipment before and after trips, note any problems, and keep accurate paperwork on your loads

Pay

The job pays $26.37 - $31.76 per hour, with expected hours of 16.0 to 30.0 per week.

Requirements

• Prior experience driving trucks or making deliveries is a plus

• Comfortable with manual transmissions and physical freight handling

• Exposure to reefers, flatbeds, or tankers is helpful

• Hazmat endorsement and dangerous-goods experience preferred, depending on the load

• Understanding of DOT, FMCSA, and hazmat safety rules is a plus
