About this job
Our company is hiring a driver in Kamloops, BC for a temporary role lasting up to 12 weeks, handling pick-up and delivery of packages on an assigned route.
Pay
- $24 an hour
What you'll do
- Pick up and deliver packages on your assigned route
- Check shipments for proper labeling and conformance to service standards
- Load your van and plan your route for efficient delivery
- Use computerized tracking and dispatch systems
- Answer customer questions about FedEx services
- May help load/unload aircraft or containers depending on location and workload
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- No driving experience required; customer service experience is a plus
- Valid driver's license (class 5, G, or 1/AZ)
- Clean driving record (no more than two infractions or accidents in the past 24 months)
- Must be bilingual (French and English) if based in Quebec
