About this job
J.B. Hunt is looking for new CDL-A graduates to join its apprenticeship program in Tipp City, OH. You'll spend six weeks training alongside an experienced J.B. Hunt driver before moving into a full-time semi-local driving position.
Pay
- Average annual pay of $90,000
- $0.63-$0.75 per mile
- Detention pay at $25 per hour
- Per-stop pay of $20-$30
- $30 per load for backhauls
- $20 per hour for miscellaneous work
- Weekly salary of $100
- Holiday pay of $200 per day
- $20 per hour for safety training
- $200 per day for new hire training
- Actual earnings can vary based on things like completed training, paid breaks, endorsements, time with the company, equipment type and days worked each week
- Safety bonuses and performance incentives may apply
Home time

Training
- Complete orientation online
- Get hands-on training and support once you're onsite
