Seasonal Pick-Up and Delivery Driver — Up to 12 Weeks

Our company in Dauphin, MB needs a temporary driver for pick-up and delivery on an assigned route. This is a seasonal role lasting up to 12 weeks, filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and counts as an interview position.

What you'll do

• Pick up and deliver packages safely and on time along your assigned route, keeping a professional, tidy appearance

• Load your van and plan your route for efficient stops

• Check that packages meet our company's service standards and have correct labels and paperwork

• Count and report your stops and any missorted items

• Keep company and customer property, equipment and vehicles secure

• Use onboard tracking and dispatch systems, entering data accurately

• Answer customer questions about our company's services, including Canada, US and international shipping requirements

• Pass along sales leads and market information you pick up from customers

• Help with loading, unloading, sorting or scanning at aircraft or containers if your location needs it

• Follow all driving laws and company safety procedures

Schedule

Shifts run Monday through Saturday, starting at 06:50 am local time.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED

• No prior experience required; a year of customer service experience is a plus

• A valid driver's license (for example Class 5, G, or 1/AZ)

• No more than two driving infractions or accidents in the past 24 months

• Selection also includes a review of your annual driving record, an interview, and driving assessments

• Quebec-based applicants must be bilingual in French and English

• Comfortable working in a Windows computer environment, completing required training and certifications, and working varying shifts as needed
