Seasonal DZ Propane Delivery Driver — $30.50/hr

Our company is hiring an experienced DZ driver for seasonal propane delivery out of its Ayr, ON yard. The contract runs from November 16, 2026 to April 2, 2027. You will deliver propane to homes, businesses and farms while keeping safety first.

What you'll do

• Drive single-axle and tandem-axle propane delivery trucks

• Deliver to residential, commercial and agricultural customers following company and regulatory rules

• Inspect your truck before and after each shift

• Load and unload propane and handle it safely

• Fill out delivery paperwork and keep electronic logs on a tablet

• Treat every customer professionally and politely

• Stay compliant with TDG and CVOR requirements

• Keep dispatch updated on schedules, routes and any problems

• Take your turn in the on-call rotation

Schedule and location

• You report to the Ayr, ON yard every day

• Expect continental shifts and extra overtime, especially in winter

Requirements

• Valid DZ licence (an AZ is an asset)

• At least 3 years of commercial driving; fuel or propane experience preferred

• A clean driver's abstract and CVOR record

• Pass a criminal background check

• Able to lift up to 55 lbs, do repetitive tasks and climb in and out of the truck often

• Comfortable with tablets, routing systems and ELDs

• Strong commitment to safety and customer service

Nice to have

• Past propane or fuel delivery work

• TDG and propane handling certificates

• Familiarity with rural routes and bulk delivery
